We LOVE Marrakech. If you’re planning some extra days at the beginning or the end of your trip, we recommend staying in a Riad in the Medina and checking out some local restaurants. Here are some of our favourites:
Riad Zhor
Check out this underrated Riad gem on the edge of the Medina. Just a 2 min walk from our favourite local parfumerie, Riad Zhor is tucked away on a quiet back street. From the comforting smell on first entry to the serene pool in the courtyard and the quiet, dark bedrooms, we loved it here. The staff are friendly, helpful and communicative and the price is very low. A great place to stay if you have a day or 2 after the retreat.
Riad Alia
Riad Alia is the little gem that time forgot. Very affordable accommodation by the night, beautiful architecture and a very cute terrace to catch the afternoon sun. This Riad is located just by Bahia Palace and is perfect if you wanted to do some extra sight seeing around the Medina.
Riad BE
This boutique Riad is located in the middle of the Medina, right by the famous souk. Stay a few nights in this tranquil slice of paradise and you wont even realise you’re amidst the hustle and bustle of the hectic old town. Be ware for influencers in the wild…
KABANA
Looking for a cheeky cocktail and some 5 star cuisine? Check out the rooftop at KABANA. The view is incredible, the service is great and the food worth coming back for.
Beldi Country Club
Stay overnight, or just take a day trip to Beldi Country Club. Lay by the beautiful pools, explore the grounds or enjoy a beautiful meal.
