Planning some extra days in Bali?

We have been to Bali SO many times! We’re obsessed. It’s a bloody long flight so we definitely recommend planning some extra days at the beginning or the end of your trip, or both! We suggest staying in a hotel or villa in Seminyak or Canggu to experience some of the world-class local restaurants and cafes, or exploring the Gili Islands. Here are some of our favourites:

Signature villa

eqUILIBRIA

Stay at the modern and stylish pool villas in Seminyak. These villas are so aesthetically pleasing.

Barbacoa

Barbacoa has become an institution in Bali. The kitchen is fuelled by fire, burning embers, charcoal and smoke. Char is the essence of their menu. The staff are incredible and the food will literally make your mouth water.

Mera Putih

This restaurant is a MUST! Book a week in advance because they always booked out and once you dine here you’ll understand why. The cuisine is Indonesian fusion and we recommend getting lots of small sharing plates for the table. Oh and definitely deep dive into the cocktail menu - it’s incredible!

Kilo Kitchen Bali

You can find Kilo Kitchen in either Seminyak or Canggu and we think it’s unmissable. They keep the menu simple as it fuses latin American and asian cuisines to perfection. We guarantee you’ll end up going back a few times just to sample everything on the menu.
